Released By:Booth Creek Ski Holdings, Inc.
Date:October 11, 2010
Truckee, CA - Booth Creek Ski Holdings, Inc. (Booth Creek) based in Truckee, CA, announced today the consummation of the sale of Waterville Valley, based in New Hampshire, to the Sununu family who are leading a group of local investors.

The sale includes the Waterville Valley Ski Area (including 12 lifts serving 52 trails on a total of 255 acres), the Nordic Center, the Conference Center and Town Square (featuring shops, restaurants and condominium lodging units).

The Sununu family has strong ties to Waterville Valley with both the former governor John H. Sununu and his son, former Senator John E. Sununu owning homes in Waterville.

"The Sununu family is perfect for taking over the ownership of Waterville Valley," commented Booth Creek's President Chris Ryman. "We will miss Waterville as part of Booth Creek Resorts, but know this is a positive ownership change with the long term ties the Sununus have with the community."
